lyrics

There's a thousand ways to get lost,
A thousand ways to be untrue,
A thousand roads to somewhere else
But only one road back to you.

I was listening to the coolest song on the radio.
Now I feel so uncool.
'Trying real hard to send up a flare.
'Trying hard to remember the rule.
Tree limbs and sagging power lines-
Nothing more than a bumbling fool.

There's a thousand ways to get lost,
A thousand ways to be untrue,
A thousand roads to somewhere else
But only one road back to you.

Unburied treasure, found some by the side of the road.
When I opened it up it really creeped me out.
If this is what they meant by the luck of the draw,
I'm folding, I'm done, I'm out.
Tree limbs and sagging power lines-
The devil is in the doubt.

There's a thousand ways to get lost,
A thousand ways to be untrue,
A thousand roads to somewhere else
But only one road back to you.
